weve taken over, now what?

You are looking at holding cells on some of the surveillance screens. They apparently are on SUB 9, wherever that is. Oh, and the cells aren't empty.

short-range communication with each other now that everyone is inside the station

We start to communicate with each other over comms. Rocky is able to get one of the 'nerds' to turn down the alarm alerts on the base. Having the remaining 9 people still alive as hostages.

Gauss, Gonzo, and Castle grab a bunch of good gear and zip tie the 3 remaining soldiers. Then they decide to secure the outer door so that no one can enter the armory and use any of  the remaining gear in there.

Castle pushes his Heavy Machinery check, getting 2 successes and 2 failures on the stress dice. Which causes Castle to drop one of his grenades as he sets off the thermite charges he's placed around the doors! Which causes everyone stress to go up by one! But they ultimately were able to secure the door...

We go down to level 7 and open the elevators. Nigel breaks the elevators to this level.

Then as we start to look around.

A couple of future darwin award winners are approaching the alien creatures.

Dozens of small creatures fall out of the wall and start to scuttle across the floor and jump onto a few of the engineers.

Prologue

Close up of a digital timer that reads Evaluation Begins In: 15…14…13…

The view pulls back to a small metal-walled room. The countdown timer is mounted above a large access hatch on one wall. Four people dressed in identical bright yellow jumpsuits face the hatch. Three of them are in a panic, shifting, sweating, eyes wild.

“What the fuck is this? What the fuck? What the fuck is this?”

“They can’t do this, right? They gotta send us back, right? YOU GOTTA SEND US BACK!”

“What do we do? Who knows what we do?”

One figure, the smallest, leans against the back wall, eyes in shadow. The hand-written name tag on her jumpsuit reads RAT.

When the timer hits 7, she makes a sudden movement to the front.

“If you skags want to get through this, listen up. We move in pairs. You and you, head out the door and break left. You! Stick with me. we go right.” They stare at her.

3…2…1 The hatch opens with a hiss.

“MOVE IT, SKAGS!” Rat shoves the first pair out into the corridor beyond. They look at her fearfully and then dash off to the left. Rat’s partner begins to move out the hatch, but she stops him with a vice-like grip on his arm. “Wait!”

They stand frozen as the timer continues to tick, this time in increasing numbers.

An eerie hissing shriek echoes through the corridor.

“NOW!” Rat barks, bolting into the corridor and darting right. Her partner stumbles after her.

“Shit! Fuck! Wait! What the fuck was that?!”

“Keep moving!” Rat leads them on a precise path through the twisting corridors.

Echoing screams of agony, all too human, echo distantly off the metal walls.

Rat stops her partner at a corridor intersection. His breath is coming in heaves and gasps.

The sound of scrabbling movement can be heard approaching quickly.

“Ah, Christ…Where…Where do we go now?”

Rat cocks her head. “Nowhere. You stay here.”

With a lightning fast move, Rat pins the other man to the wall, breaks his ankle with a savage kick and smashes an elbow into his temple. He drops, shrieking to the floor grating. Rat sprints towards a corner of the intersection. She leaps, braces a foot on one wall and the propels herself diagonally upward. Her fingers grip the lip of a narrow gap between the top of the wall and the ceiling grating. With a moan through gritted teeth she forces her body into the tight space, shredding skin off her scalp and elbows.

A rising wail behind her is abruptly cut off by the wet gristly crunching of savage violence.

The view switches to the perspective of a security camera feed focused on the small gap in which RAT hid herself. Arterial spray splatters the wall beneath.

“She found another gap, Madam Director. Do you want maintenance to seal it?”

The shot cuts to Director Hesper Lynch (Judy Dench) in a severely tailored suit.

“No. Leave it. I admire her ruthlessness.”

Entering the Station

This is the barracks area
Goss and Gonzo are in the barracks area trying to see what is going on. Castle enters the station with the supply crew and is at the top level. 5 royal marine commandos with pulse rifles See a large container coming out of one of the bays, the commandos tell Castle to move along and stop staring Fortunately Castle makes it past the card scanner that Goss has helped setup for Castle
Command Center on sub level 8

Eastland, Rocky, and Ugene enter in Sub-Level 8 into a computer room. They have fire fight with Clive Owen and take control of the area.

Castle opens up and shoots into Ohara, knocking him to the ground. Then Gonzo and Gauss help secure the barracks and Armory area.

Getting to the station

The plan is to have The Borer arrive at the same time as the re-supply ship.

Castle is arriving on that ship. The borer is coming in on SUB 5.

The moles are positioned on SUB 2 looking to do something about the armory.

 Party split 3 ways. Check.

Background

Mother: Welcome to Planet Shackleton

Planet Shackleton

SEEGSON CORP.
INTELLIGENCE FILE
SUBJECT: WEYLAND YUTANI RESEARCH FACILITIES ON SHACKLETON

Planet Shackleton

The Planet: Shackleton is a small frozen world in the outer reaches of a system in Three World Empire space. The atmosphere is a stormy mix of methane and nitrogen. The surface is made up of rock-hard water ice. Surface temperatures range from -100°C to -175°C. Planet surface thought to be uninhabited other than the Weyalnd Yutani facility SK-1098. No commercial resources. A small number of remote-sensing satellites orbit the planet.
The Base: SK-1098 is a high security research facility operated by Weyland Yutani. The base is largely constructed beneath the level of the surface ice, with only the landing facilities, cargo handling bays, communication arrays and reactor cooling towers at surface level. Details of the base are incomplete, but it is believed that there are 6-10 sub levels below the surface. Power and heat are provided by triple-redundant mid-range reactors on the lower levels of the base. The current understanding of the base layout is as follows:

Station Layout

SURFACE: Landing Facilities, Security, Elevators, Communication Array, Cooling Towers
SUB 1: Administration and Main Stores
SUB 2: Habitation, Mess and Recreation, RM Barracks & Armory
SUB: 3&4: Neurotoxin Research Labs
SUB 5: Computer Mainframe, Command Center
SUB 6&7: Reactors & Physical Plant

The base is staffed by around 150 personnel grouped into administration, security, maintenance and research duties. Base personnel have dubbed the base “The Icicle,” although “The Shit-cicle” is also in common usage.

The Icicle

Security Protocols: SK-1098 shows exceptionally high levels of security. Access to the base is limited to supply flights arriving every 3 months. Incoming personnel are vetted through security on the surface level before being allowed access to the base below. The base guards are not typical Weyland Yutani personnel, but a troop of Royal Marine Commandos borrowed from the Three World Empire armed forces. All off-world communication with the base is through narrow-band encrypted burst transmissions. Internal base security access controlled through a mix of encrypted keycard panels and biometric scanners.

OBJECTIVES

Your team will plan and execute an infiltration/espionage mission to SK-1098. You will retrieve experiment data, scientific samples and any other material or assets that will help Seegson understand and reconstruct the research being conducted at SK-1098.

Upon successful completion of the mission, your team will be compensated UA$238,000,000 (or equivalent alternate currency)

Royal Marines

25-30 total, broken down into 5-6-soldier teams. A team is always stationed at Landing Facilities and another in armored exosuits conducting perimeter security. Official line: Opportunity for harsh-weather training. Troops seem both bored and on edge, all-business, but resentful of Wey/Yu personnel. Often at least one team is unaccounted for.

Key Personnel

Director Hesper Lynch: Wey/Yu true-believer. Terrifying. Stay the fuck out of her way. (played by Dame Judy Dench)

Director Hesper Lynch

Deputy Director Hiroto Kagero- publicly supportive of Dir. Lynch. Privately, who knows? (played by Hiroyuki Sanada)

Director Hiroto Kagero

Director of Neurotoxin Research, Dr. Marion Phlinder- waspish and unpleasant. Always has a bug up his ass about something. Called Dr. Mary behind his back. Everyone wishes his face would melt off. (played by Ronald Lacey)

Dr. Marion Phlinder

Lt. Winslow- commander of Commando unit. Strictly professional. Seems exhausted. Secret crush of many station personnel. (played by Clive Owen)

Lt. Winslow

Sgt.O'Hara- second in command of Commando troop. Yikes. Seems like a maniac. Could go off at any second. (played by Robert Carlysle)

Sgt. O'Hara

General Station Morale

Nerves are stretched thin. Everyone keeps their head down and tries not to displease Dir. Lynch. Most can't wait to get the fuck off the Shit-cicle.

Additional detail: Given their respective covers, neither mole has access to SUB 5.
